In the first week of July Nutmeg and her parents Jules and David will be doing heir final Paws Up Challenge by completing Blencathra Mountain which is 868 m/2,848 ft above sea level! This makes it the 14th highest mountain in the Lake District and it is the 290th highest peak in all the British Isles!

Nutmeg and her family have been avid supporters of YCR for many years now and many of you will have seen their previous challenges that they have completed in the past! They have helped to raise a lot of pennies for all our kitties over the years and they have even popped down to our centre a few times to meet our team and our late Mascot Spud. 

Nutmeg is a seasoned walker and regularly goes on big walks and her mummy and daddy who keep her welfare as their number 1 priority. She is monitored at all times to make sure she is safe and happy while walking! While walking is not for every cat, Nutmeg is an active girl who really enjoys spending time in the outdoors and she is never forced to go anywhere she doesn't want to go!
