Luna in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Luna

Luna has settled into her new home perfectly. She loves her two new brothers (Moose & Goose) and they love her! It’s like she’s always been here, she’s taken a particular liking to the new cat tree, often snoozing in the top bed, and loves having zoomies with her brothers and play time with all the toys. Everyone that’s met her adores her and so do we.
Raffy & Mabel in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Raffy & Mabel (was Sid & Valentine)

They have been taking their time to get to know each other and are still not quite sure who's going to be top cat! Mabel is as beautiful inside as she is outside! She settled in really quickly too. Raffy is still a kitten and quite a bumptious one at that! So initially he thought he was top cat. Honestly they have brought me so much joy and love.
Cathy & Clifford in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Cathy & Clifford (was Heathcliff)

We are so happy with Cathy and Clifford, they have slotted into our lives perfectly. They are so happy and settled. Cathy is so playful it’s hard to keep up with! We love her personality so much. Clifford is more of a couch potato and we usually find him sunbathing! They are both so loving and enjoy cuddling up under the covers on an evening. Thank you for trusting us with them!
Nellie in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Nellie

Nellie is lively, sweet, playful, likes biting me lol
I love her loads, she has helped me grieve losing willow my previous cat. She loves her food and treats and used her litter tray from day 1. My bungalow looks like a cat crèche now which I’m totally fine with - if that makes Nellie happy...... Thank you so much for letting me adopt Nellie.
Stan in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Stan

Stan is the cutest, cuddliest and most playful cat I've ever met. Me and my sister just moved here from Canada and I really can't overstate how important it has been to have him around when times are rough. He was shy for a few days but once he knows that you're feeding him he absolutely loves you. He really acts younger than he is chasing his toys and getting overall zoomies late at night or early in the morning. You'd hardly notice his arthritis when he bounds up the stairs to head butt you and meow for pets. Thank you for the incredible little cat.
Nala in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Narla

Narla has settled in really well and she is now enjoying exploring outside. She’s such an affectionate cat and we’re absolutely in love with her. Thank you.
Bridget in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Beautiful Bridget

She is settling in just fine. Now she is turning into a little madam lol. She is totally adorable and so well behaved around the house. Thank you all for your care you gave her.
Stanley in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Stanley

Stanley is wonderful! He’s settled in perfectly and he was at home the moment we arrived - he’s a really gentle and inquisitive little cat, who is endlessly patient with a toddler who LOVES him. He’s the most perfect cat that we could have asked for, and feel very grateful that he had such a good start with you all. Thanks so much again! We love Stanley.
Millie in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Millie 12 years on...

Just wanted to send you a 12 year gotcha update. Millie was at the centre for 3 months and was quite depressed, an older lady approx 13 apparently. She hissed and grumbled at me for a while but eventually agreed to take me on as her staff. 12 years later (it appears she may not have been completely honest about her age!) she has us well trained to deliver only the best to her in her old age!
Jinx & Bram in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Jinx & Bram

They have settled in amazingly. Jinx and Bram are the favourite members of our family now. Jinx is so calm and gentle and loves to sit next to you all day long. Bram is so funny and playful before he comes for some love! We adore them and they've filled two cat hole spaces in our lives.
Freddie in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Freddie

Just wanted to give you a quick update on Ranger now called Freddie Cougar. Freddie is setting very well, he has had his second vaccine and the vets was very pleased with his progress, he loves playing in his cat tree, and playing with his toy mice and when we throw them for him he brings them back. He loves to snuggle and following us around the house, he knows where his food and treats are kept and when the cupboard door gets opened he is waiting for his treats. He is a very loving cat, and we could not imagine being without him. Thank you once again for Freddie.
Tino in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Tino

Tino has settled in great, he is an adorable kitty and wants constant cuddles. He loves being with us and is such a loving kitten. He has the cutest personality, except when it comes to food! He transforms into a food demon and even jumps on us from the kitchen counter if we are holding a can of food. He will also steal anything he can reach, like bread from the toaster…lol. He gets on well with our older cat, Marco and they even snuggle together which is adorable.
Evangeline in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Evangeline

She’s doing so well. She’s such a social cat, loves exploring the farm, watching the world go by and getting mollycoddled by the children!
Hugo in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Hugo

He is generally getting on really well, one of my dogs is still very interested in him so its a slow process but overall, I'm quite happy.
Simone in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Simone

Simone made herself queen of the castle within about 5 minutes of arriving home. She's been slowly ingratiating herself here and we're glad to say that we think things will work out long term. She's a really tactile cat, and prefers to sleep under the duvet next to (or on) one of us if we're there than in her own bed. I decided to sacrifice my beard for her since she would get caught in it when trying to snuggle up against my chin. She and our resident cat Logan are slowly coming to terms with each
other. Logan has been an absolute trooper, and has been giving her loads of space even though it's obvious he wants to be friends. She's still in the "hiss and run" phase if he gets too close but it's been diminishing and we think in a few months with gentle persuasion (and treats) that they'll be able to reconcile properly. She's about half
his size so it makes sense she's going to be wary, but we're very patient. Thanks again for everything.
Cosmo in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Cosmo

Pablo (now called Cosmo) settled in amazingly. He took to us immediately and quickly made friends with our other cat of a similar age, they play together multiple times a day but Cosmo is also happy playing with his toys. He loves a fuss and a cuddle and is just the sweetest boy. He's very polite compared to our other cats. He loves to yell to get our attention at 4am, how do you turn this feature off? Haha.
Binx & Cosmo in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Binx & Cosmo

Pumpkin is now Binx, and Raven is now Cosmo!
Both are doing amazing, they’ve grown so much from when we first got them. Cosmo is a big softy, he likes to think he isn’t (but he really is). Binx has really come out of her shell and is a confident little lady! They both love a play, treats and love! Especially playing at 3am (we don’t mind though!) They’ve both really gained their confidence, which we are trying to encourage as much as we can, they’re still a bit twitchy but they’re getting there! We’re looking at setting up a secure outdoor area for them so they can gain some outdoor confidence, they love the windows and conservatory! We built them some indoor climbing/ trees which they’re obsessed with! They also love watching David Attenboroughs planet earth haha!
Both are very well loved and cared for, at there check up the vet advised they’re very healthy! Thank you again for choosing us, it’s been the best decision we’ve made and we love them to bits!
Lily in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Lily

She has settled in really well and is very snuggly girl.
Ted & Dexter in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Ted & Dexter

They’re doing absolutely amazingly!! They’re now taking full advantage of having full run of the house, always follow me around and give me little bites and groom me when we’re laid watching TV or in bed. They purr so loud and I get kitten chirps when I come in the room. Both love sleeping right near my face or actually lay on me haha. They discovered a little bit of cooked chicken today for the first and safe to say it was devoured. They really are still two peas in a pod, one doesn’t go anywhere without the other and I no longer get bathroom time alone haha. Dexter is definitely a mummy’s boy and has a little jealous streak in him too. Absolutely love them both to pieces!! They came to me at exactly the right time.
Bowie in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Bowie

Bowie is doing really well, he's still very VERY food motivated but loves his cuddles and toys. Still trying to train him to use a scratching post rather than my furniture but he's been so confident and happy since moving in, thank you.
Finn in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Finn

Smudge is Finn now and he’s doing so well. It only took a couple of days for him and Isla to bond. He loves helping his daddy with jobs around the house and garden, and loves sleepy cuddles with Isla. He’s venturing in the garden now and I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s big enough to follow his sister for fun over the fence! Thank you for allowing us to adopt him.
Emerald in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Emerald

Emerald has settled in really well. It's been wonderful.
She's such a gentle, sensitive girl who loves snuggles but she also has a very sassy and demanding side. She's an absolute diva who likes to sulk with us when the treats stop being served but we wouldn't have her any other way. We love her personality and she makes us laugh every day. She's so happy and playful , she loves playing with her toys, watching cat tv and a game of hide and seek. She's settled in very well and she fills our home with joy.
We love her so much. Thank you for taking care of her and for helping all the other kitties find their happy endings too.
Wolley in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Woolley

Wolley is happily exploring everywhere and so friendly.
She was sick on the way over, windy road unfortunately, so I was glad to replenish her breakfast. She doesn’t seem shy or nervous at all. Just love her already.
Jude in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Jude

Jude is doing really well. He settled in instantly when I brought him home and it’s hard to imagine what it was like without him! He is so cuddly and loving but also as mad as a hatter!! He is desperate to go outside and tries to escape every time we open a door, so until he is a bit older he loves being outside with his harness on and meeting one of his neighbours!
Mr Big in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Mr Big (AKA Dexter)

He's doing fine. He’s got the run of the house and he’s choosing to sleep in a chair in the living room as well as his bed in the room we made for him when he arrived.
He still isn’t keen on being approached, but will come to us for treats. He has a healthy appetite and has stopped panic eating. Dexter has recently started to play with his toys, he seems to prefer noiseless ones. We’re happy that he is making progress but it would seem he has been mistreated in the past but he’s found the right home now.
Edgar in is new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Edgar

This is our beautiful boy Edgar that we adopted from YCR 2 and a half years ago. He really is the light of our life bringing equal amounts of chaos and happiness every day. Thank you for all the amazing work you all do.
Monty in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Monty

Salsa is now known as Monty. He’s settled in so well and loves cuddles but also is known for having some serious cases of the zoomies. We love him so much and his little personality. Thank you!
MiLady in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Tilly - Now …Mi Lady

I’ve sent you some lovely photos of Mi Lady, 2months, after we were blessed with her. As you can tell, she is the most precious, beautiful cat I have ever seen. She is definitely the queen of the house, lounging, eating, purring and modelling her extensive collection of jewellery.
Thank you for all you do at YCR.
Ellie & Robyn in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Ellie & Robyn

Just sending a couple of recent pictures of Ellie and Robyn who we adopted from you in January. They've outgrown their little kitten looks now (although still lots of kitteney behaviour), and have finally been allowed outside. Here's Robyn enjoying the sunshine whilst Ellie prefers the comfort of the warm home still!
Tilsim in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Tilsim

She’s been with us for more than 6 months now and she is doing great! She is full of energy and from her very first day we absolutely loved her! Her current favourite activities are playing with a laser pointer and watching the birds out of the window. So so happy that she’s our baby.
Brian in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Brian

Brian has settled in so well and is such a perfect addition to our family. It took a couple of weeks for the other cats to accept him, but they are all best friends now. Brian was scared of the dog for about 3 days, then was soon stealing his bed or snuggling in with him.
Belladonna in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Belladonna (was Faith)

It's been a year since I moved to my furever home with my brothers, Merry and Pippin. We had a lovely summer, exploring the gardens round and about and learning to hunt. I started with catching leaves, then empty snail shells before graduating onto mice. In August, I got stuck up a tree and was the talk of the village Facebook group because I meowed so loudly! My hoomans came and rescued me very quickly though. On Christmas Day, when I saw everyone bringing presents, I nipped out, caught a mouse and dropped it in the living room as a gift for my hoomans! They were very impressed. I love having my belly rubbed, and I love snuggling up under a blanket on the sofa. I sit and stare at it until one of my hoomans lifts it up for me to get underneath.

Poppy

Poppy is doing really well and settling in great. She now weighs 1.53kg so steadily putting on weight despite all the zooming she does around the house!
Maisie in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Mistletoe is now Maisie

She’s a little madam with attitude and she’s a little feisty. She fits right in. She loves waking us up by attacking our feet, running around the garden looking at the birds, and cleaning herself in the most weird positions. She’s settled in great and we love her.
Louis in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

MC Louie

He came to us barely the size of a teapot. He’s super playful & interested in everything going on. When he’s not playing with his toys he’s chilled out & can be found snoozing with his paws in the air like he just don’t care!
His favourite things are chin tickles & tummy rubs and feathers. He doesn’t want to go outside yet but he loves watching the garden from the patio doors and window ledges. With much TLC he is growing into the sweetest boy & we love him. Thank you so much YCR for allowing us to adopt & providing a seemless adoption.
Milo in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Milo

Milo has settled in amazingly well and is bringing us lots of joy. He enjoys snuggles once his zoomies have tired him out. He has developed an obsession with cardboard boxes and plastic spring toys, and all the wires have had to be hidden as he loves to chew through them. His relationship with our old lady cat is a work in progress, he is very curious but she's not overly impressed. We're getting there though. He loves nothing more than playing chase through the house with our daughter and they have become firm friends.
Percy in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Percy

Adopted from us in 2022, here is an amazing picture of Percy in his home - living his best life in the Scottish Boarders
Nellie in her new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Nellie

I’ve settled in really well with my new mama and little sister (Alice the dwarf hamster). I love my blankets that I brought with me and mama has loads of toys for me to play and chase round. Mama had some friends that have been to meet me and they all have said it’s like I’ve always been here. My Mama says she has not been the same since Willow her previous fur baby crossed over the rainbow bridge. She says her heart feels warm again and that she feels that I’ve healed her. That’s what a cats lubs can do.
Ralph in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Ralph (was Soccer)

I adopted ‘soccer’ in 2023 when he was 7 months old.
He is known as Ralph and has just turned 2! I bought him special treats and some gifts. Adopting Ralph was one of the best things I’ve ever done. I love him so much.
Just thought you’d want to see Ralph in his birthday outfit
Pumpkin in his new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Pumpkin

Just a quick update on Pumpkin (Was Simon). He’s a big boy now, enjoying playing around with his toys and staring out the window.
Slipper & Socks in their new home from Yorkshire Cat Rescue

Slippers & Socks

They are doing amazing, have settled in so well. They are so loving and the most snuggly kittens who love to nap on us every night. They love eachother so much and are always side by side, play fighting and cuddling. They were so brave at the vets last month also. Socks loves to chat… a lot! and gets jealous when Slippers is getting cuddles so will sit on top of her! We love them so much and they have brought us so much joy.
Tortoiseshell cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Lila (short for Delilah)

She's been fabulous!!! Settled in so well with us, very inquisitive and likes sniffing around her new environment. She's a total sweetie and loves being stroked. She likes a chair under the table as her safe space and lets you know if not to touch her with a soft tap.  She seems to be happy and has been playing with her new toys too, as well as looking out of the window at the birds! Really so pleased to have a cat again in our family and we already love her.

Thanks again for such an easy and straightforward adoption process.

2 black and white kittens from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Tilly & Kia

Just to let you know Tilly and Kia are settling in very well. The house doesn't feel empty any more.

Tortoiseshell cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Ena (short for Thomasina)

Thomasina has settled really well. She now goes by the shorter version of Ena and rules the household! She has trained us well and we know which is her bed and sofa, and exactly when she would like her food.

Taking her medicine is a joy for her and she likes it spread upon the nicest chicken that Booths has to offer and likes it to be hand fed. Her favourite evening's entertainment is to join in with the jigsaw puzzle - and she tells us with a swift paw if a piece is not in the correct place! She's an absolute character and a joy to have as part of the family.

Black and white cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Teddy

We just wanted to send you a little update on Teddy (formally Jude).  He is an absolute joy and a bundle of fun and energy. Teddy has settled in perfectly from the moment we got him home. He is confident, very cuddly (loves to sleep on us too!), very playful and loves all of his toys. His favourite being a little seahorse toy! Although he will play with anything he walks past! We just love him! ...and he seems to enjoy the Simpsons!

Black cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Bruce

He has settled into life with us really well. His rate of growth (and appetite) is incredible, putting on nearly a kilo since we adopted him nearly 4 weeks ago. He has a very shiny coat and is meticulous with his grooming. He has bags of energy and loves to play, especially with a laser pointer, he'll chase it around and around for ages!  He also loves watch the birds and squirrels out of the window. He is a big cuddler and when he does finally go to sleep, he loves his fleecy blankets or a knee.

Its amazing how quickly they settle in and become a part of your life. We're going to start letting him out in a few weeks, just want to wait until he's a little bigger. Very happy he's in our lives.

White cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Scrooge

Just quick update on Scrooge he's doing very well and love's to cause hovc and get up to mischief, he's got thing for fridge magnets and now he's decided to take over my bed as well the sofa. He lives life to full and love's to play on his terms, he still love's his food....... he's one spoilt, happy cat!!

White cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Snowpuff

She has settled in so well, and sleeps on our bed every night, even coming under the covers to snuggle up to us. She’s having a brilliant time playing with the children, and has been eyeing up the birds in the garden. We absolutely love her, thank you.

Black cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Herbie

Just thought you might like to see some pics of Sirius (now Herbie) all settled in his new home. He’s getting along great with our Cockapoo Mabel.

Grey cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Ivy

It's 5 weeks since we adopted Ivy and it’s like she has always lived with us. She is now eating well and is really settled. She has a good feeding routine and is very vocal about reminding us when it’s time for food.

Ivy is always excited to see us in the morning and likes to play with the entire family before school & work. Ivy hasn’t been outside yet but she hasn’t shown any signs of wanting to go out either so we are in the process of having a catio built for the garden so that she can safely explore the outdoors a little and soak up the sun without the dangers… Did I mention that she likes to eat spider plants.

Tortoiseshell cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Ella

Ella is doing all good!

She’s started to settle in now and she’s doing great!

Tortoiseshell kitten from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

Barnaby

He is amazing and we love him so so much! He’s adjusted really quick and has made the best of friends with our cat Bella! He’s getting used to our dog and she’s coming round to him too. He’s now named Benny Bee (my 3 year old son’s choice) - the children adore him and are loving the snuggles.

He really is the perfect addition. He is crazy but he’s just as crazy as Bella so they really are the perfect match - even if we do have the zoomies with them both at bedtime.

Grey cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in new home

MissT

Hi YCR: MissT (was Olive) is settling in well. She is delightful, full of life but loves a cuddle. Thank you for letting us adopt her!

“Hi, we adopted Jasmine now Maggie in October and thought we would send you some pics so you can see how she has grown. She is ruling the house now and has quite the personality. We all know who is really in charge! Maggie has made our lives complete.”

Walter

“Hi! Just a little update for you on Walter! Well Walter clearly loves children!! He stay’d behind the tv stand the first night, then as soon as he heard my youngest come down he came out to play! He’s been fab so far. He really is a little cutey!!”

Poppy the cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in their new home

POPPY

“Just thought I would send you a little message as our little Poppy (was Caramel) has been with us for a week. She has settled in so well and loved so much already.

She purrs away as soon as she sees you so loudly. She loves nothing more than to play with all her toys and on an evening once her zoomies are out of the way, she comes to us for cuddles and recharge for another little play before bedtime. Thank you x”

Wallace the cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue now in his new home

WALLACE

"Wallace is all settled and the boys are loving having him, he’s so soft and playful…."
Roger the cat from Yorkshire Cat Rescue in their new home

Roger the dodger!

"We got Roger from you in July and I’ve just realised I haven’t sent you any photos of him or given you an update. He’s a proper character who rules the house and makes us laugh so much! I hope these photos show a bit of his character and personality."

"Just wanted to send an update on Belle now she’s settled in. She's as much trouble as she is cute. She never fails to entertain me with her antics and her playful character. She loves chasing balls and ribbon, with the occasional curtain climb in the mix. She’s so affectionate and the perfect addition to my family."
