The Process & How To Apply

These are our cats that are ready, or nearly ready, for adoption.......

Step 1 Click on the cat for more information and then click on the button below to apply, when filling the form in please add comments to the notes section to tell us why you are the best fit for the cat/kitten you are applying for and a little bit about yourself.

Please note, we do not retain details for unsuccessful applicants, if you are unsuccessful you will need to reapply.

Step 2 Once you have applied to reserve a cat, if you are a successful match one of our Cat Care & Rehoming Team will call you, we try to do this within 24-48 hours. Unfortunately if we do not contact you in this time it does mean that you have not been successful on this occasion. Due to the high volume of applications we are unable to respond to unsuccessful applications.

Step 3 After speaking to you about your application if the team feel you are a good match and you are still happy to go ahead they will arrange an adoption meeting as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE - you must be ready to adopt a cat immediately when applying we can not hold cats or kittens for longer than the 3 day adoption window.

Step 4 You will arrive at the rescue centre for your booked appointment and be introduced to the cat/kitten you have reserved. If you are still happy and the team are happy the adoption will go ahead.

How Much Does It Cost

We make an adoption charge, which goes towards the costs of neutering, microchipping, vaccinating and treatment for worms and fleas. The adoption fee for a kitten is £135, for an adult cat it is £125, a bonded adult pair is £230 and a bonded kitten pair is £250.

All pedigree cats will be charged at a higher price usually between £400 - £800, this will be advertised in their description and will depend on the breed, please make sure you check before applying.

The costs we incur are much higher than the adoption fee's we charge, for neutering, micro chipping and vaccinating a cat/kitten with flea and worming treatments we pay around £250 and this is without the other veterinary costs we may have had to pay for the cat/kitten while they are in foster care. We appeal to all our adopters to make an extra donation if you can, or even better, to set up a regular donation gift to us.  You can do this by clicking on the donate link at the top of our website. Thank you....

We want everyone that wants to adopt a cat be able to welcome a cat into their home.  We do our best to match cats to people so it may be that we feel that the cat you apply to reserve isn't right for you. To find out if the cat is likely to be a match for you, please click on the cat's name to get their full homing requirements and read the description of the cat you are interested in offering a home to. Thank you.

As we have a lot of applications for the cats and kittens we advertise on the site you may be a match but someone may have applied before you that is also a match. In instances like this we contact the first applicant first. If you have been unsuccessful a number of times it could be that you have been beaten by time and not because they are a better match.

Cats and Kittens are added to the site daily sometimes so please make sure you check multiple times a day.
